ABOUT OUR CLUB

The Capital Area PWC Club is a chapter of the American Watercraft Association (AWA). The AWA is a national organization that advocates the rights of Personal Watercraft (PWC) owners across the country. To date, the American Watercraft Association membership is nearly 10,000 riders strong. The Capital Area PWC Club is proud to be the member chapter near our nation's capital.

Our club began in the summer of 2005 and has quickly grown in size. The diverse membership includes riders from the ages of 25 to 88, and as far as two hours away from D.C. in almost every direction. Despite the many differences in backgrounds, from age to occupation, the synergy of the club is simply awesome. Everyone in the club is always up for a good ride! Riding together, after all, is what the club is all about!

Our group of members have enjoyed several, club organized, fun-filled rides over the past few years. From Leesylvania Park and Lake Anna in Virginia, to Sandy Point Park in Maryland. We were also fortunate enough to help host the AWA D.C. Freedom Ride in 2006 and 2007. From inland lakes to the bay of Chesapeake, the Capital Area PWC club enjoys adventuring them all. In 2008, we hope to make even more waves. We're all about safe boating and having fun! Does this sound like you? Please contact us for more information. We'd love to have you out to one of our events and see, first hand, what our club is all about.

Whether you're new to the sport, a seasoned rider, a wave jumper, an explorer, or anywhere in between; there is a place for you in the Capital Area PWC Club! We're always accepting new members who are looking to have fun and test the waters along with us. Get your ski ready and join the club to add a new experience to your next ride.
